Here at hedwigs we are fairly quiet at the moment, we currently have 7 hedgehogs

Here at hedwigs we are fairly quiet at the moment, we currently have 7 hedgehogs inside, a couple are almost ready to go home and the rest are very poorly 😔 In our soft release pens outside we have 4 who are deciding that they still need to be hibernating as they are too lazy

Another release ☺️ This is Harry Silver who came in on October 7th 2023 from Roundswell He was very small and out in the daytime. He only weighed 187g. He was in an incubator and hand fed until he had put on a good amount of weight and was eating by himself. He had Capillaria

Meet Squelch, he came in on March 21st. He was found in a sump pit and had been in there for at least 24 hours. He was covered in dry hard mud and couldn't move very well. He had also worn all of his nails away trying to get out. Thankfully he has no internal

A little update on Mr Wheezy, He is still having breathing issues but he is much better than before, we also found Capillaria so has had treatment for that too. He does have toes but he's hiding them 😂 We are hoping once the meds finish he will continue to improve and be able to
