Another release ☺️
This is Harry Silver who came in on October 7th 2023 from Roundswell
He was very small and out in the daytime. He only weighed 187g.
He was in an incubator and hand fed until he had put on a good amount of weight and was eating by himself.
He had Capillaria which he had treatment for.
He progressed to a hutch and reached release weight but due to the intake weigh he needed soft release.
He was put into one of our soft release pens to get used to the weather.
During this time he decided to hibernate so had to stay a bit longer 😂
On his wakening a sample was tested, he had contracted lungworm 😯
The poor guy then had to have that treatment too. Pleased to say that now clear he went home yesterday 👏 weighing 874g As his story shows it's not just getting them ready for the world, they sometimes need more treatment before they can go home. Good luck Harry Silver 🦔
